The founder of Hearts and Bells, Marita Laddaran, graduated from Northwest Culinary Academy in Vancouver, Canada for Bread and Pastry Arts.
Since opening the store in 1997, Hearts and Bells has not only been providing for the personal needs of individual customers but for the cake needs of hotels, caterers, wedding planners, and party shops as well. They pride in their ability to satisfy customers with their specialized cakes.

Hearts and Bells has made cakes for celebrities as well, such as the birthday cakes of Kira Ballinger, Sharlene San Pedro, and Gladys Reyes’s son.
Additionally, they have also been picking up exposure through participating in events such as wedding and debut fairs, and other events that allow them to showcase their cakes, gaining customers in the process.

Currently, Heart and Bells has a showroom in Binondo, but they also have kiosks in the following places namely KG-14, Ground Floor, Lucky Chinatown Mall, K-109, Upper Ground Floor, City Center, SM North EDSA, KI 120 Ground Floor, Main Mall, South Wing, SM Mall of Asia which are all open from Monday-Sunday, 10:00 AM-10:00 PM.
