As if fans needed more reason to cry tears of joy this past week after the much-awaited Friends reunion finally aired on HBO Max, now we’re seeing a collaboration between one of our favorite friends and award-winning singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran!
Courtney Cox recently posted a video on her Instagram account that drove Friends fans crazy. In the video, she and Ed Sheeran recreated the iconic dance routine from the show, which Courteney, who played Monica Geller, performed with David Schwimmer a.k.a. Ross Geller, her on-screen brother. In the series, the hilarious dance routine was performed by the brother and sister tandem during a supposed taping of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve.

Cox posted the video with the caption: “Just some routine dancing with a friend…@teddysphotos #ReRoutine.” Cox didn’t miss a beat in the Instagram video and Sheeran knew all the steps. Sheeran also posted the video on his Instagram account even saying that he’s “better than ross.” He wrote: “Had a reunion of our own this weekend @courteneycoxofficial #theroutine #iknow #friends4eva #obviouslybetterthanross.”
The video ended with that leap, of course, with Sheeran catching Cox before both fell laughing. What a time to be alive.
