Each of the special products put on display also has its corresponding QR code so you can swiftly and conveniently add it to your Lazada cart. At the #LazBeautyRoom launch event, we also got to meet the LazBeauty Besties: lifestyle content creators Kryz Uy, Nicole Andersson, and Angelique Manto, beauty editor Belle Rodolfo, co-founder of Sunnies Face Jess Wilson, and CEO and co-founder of blk cosmetics and Happy Skin Jacqe Gutierrez–all of whom shared their insights about the evolving beauty landscape and their empowering messages on staying confident with your Filipina skin.
LazBeauty Bestie Angelique Manto in particular encouraged the audience to celebrate their own identity.
“You need to be the representation that you want to see and there can never be enough morena representation and that said, I just want you to know that there is enough space for everyone,” she told all the launch attendees. “Knowing that there’s the right partner to help you realize that everyone is welcome to celebrate their own kind of beauty, like LazBeauty, all the more makes us open to celebrating who we are and just lifting each other up.”
Kryz Uy, meanwhile, talked about the value of makeup as a confidence booster.
“I feel like there’s a lot of taboo, before especially, when it comes to beauty. But to me, beauty really helped me gain confidence in myself when I didn’t have that confidence and having the right skincare, having the right products made me who I am today.”
As for Nicole Andersson, she shared her love for LazBeauty for making it more convenient for a consumer and influencer like her to try different products and recommend the best ones to her audience.
