Alden Richards just recently stopped by Korea for the 2019 Seoul International Drama Awards. He was awarded the Asian Star Prize in recognition for his excellence in television drama productions worldwide. The awards were held at the Grand Peace Hall of Kyunghee University.

Alden expressed his sincere gratitude for the honor during his acceptance speech: “As a Filipino, I am very humbled and grateful to be recognized in the international scene, along with so many amazing and talented artists here tonight.”
“This award is extra special because it comes at a time when we are celebrating 70 years of friendship between the Philippines and South Korea,” he continued.
He ended his speech by saying: “As actors, it is always our hope to make more people happy and inspire them with our passion.”
The actor shared a few photos and clips of himself on the red carpet before the awarding on his Instagram stories, as well. Fans couldn’t get enough of his look in a blue tailored suit:
