Likhang Habi Market Fair Returns for Its 15th Year This October

In its 15th year of meaningful encounters, the Likhang Habi Market Fair is back with a bigger and bolder offering. The flagship project of HABI: The Philippine Textile Council is slated for October 10 to 12, 2025, and will feature about a hundred weavers, weaving communities, artisans, and designers from all over the country, creating a unique shopping experience that is as diverse as it is significant. The fair is among the most-awaited events in the buyers’ calendar, especially for those who appreciate artisanal products with cultural value.

“The Likhang Habi Market Fair is that one weekend each year when the weaving communities bring out the best products they have created using the latest techniques they have developed—methods that will become part of our weaving culture and history, and our identity as a nation,” said HABI President Mia Villanueva.

Now moving to Space at One Ayala, the event’s larger venue ensures it can welcome more vendors and guests. Its accessible location, with connections to the MRT, Ayala bus terminal, malls, and parking facilities, makes it an ideal hub for this year’s fair.

Cultural presentations, weaving demonstrations, and workshops will also take place, reinforcing HABI’s mission to preserve, promote, and enhance Philippine textiles.

Food and Lifestyle Section
Chef Sau Del Rosario will lead an expanded culinary section, featuring creations from Café Fleur and other culinary artisans, offering regional delicacies and a space for dining and lounging.

Preserving Textiles at the Source
The fair highlights the importance of protecting natural resources that sustain the weaving industry. The Mahalina Foundation, co-founded by Mercedes Zobel and Dr. Patricia Araneta, continues its partnership with HABI through cotton advocacy and community-based weaving projects.

The Likhang Habi Market Fair goes beyond being a marketplace—it creates meaningful encounters between weavers and buyers, fostering relationships, ideas, and sustainable growth.
