Heads up, coffee lovers! The beloved specialty coffee shop from Kyoto, Kurasu, is officially opening in the Philippines!

News of Kurasu opening its first physical store in Manila came to light when a local restaurant group shared job postings online for coffee specialists and senior baristas to join the flagship team of Kurasu Philippines. An official Instagram page was also created with the handle “@kurasu.ph”, with its first post teasing its location in Makati City.
“Hello Makati,” the caption read. “Kyoto coffee culture is coming to the neighborhood, very soon.”

It’s unclear whether Kurasu PH will be a coffee stand or a sit-down type of café, but one thing’s for sure: we’re already counting down the days ’til it officially opens for business!
