In case you haven’t heard, veteran actor Mon Confiado is starring in a Korean film and it’s finally showing in Philippine cinemas starting today, December 16!

The movie, titled “The Golden Holiday,” tells the story of a countryside detective who travels to the Philippines with his family to celebrate his and his wife’s 10th wedding anniversary. However, his main objective is to hunt down his old friend who scammed him and got away years prior.
Viva International Pictures officially announced the premiere of “The Golden Holiday” on its social media account, describing it as a “Korean Blockbuster hit shot entirely in the Philippines.”
It has yet to be announced which cinemas it will be shown at.
It was last July when he first shared photos from the film shoot for “The Golden Holiday” wherein he, wearing a policeman uniform, is all beat up and bloodied while being held by his Korean costar. See it below:
“The Golden Holiday” is directed by Kim Bong-han and stars Kwak Do-won, Kim Dae-myung, Kim Hee-won, Kim Sang-ho, Shin Dong-mi, and Lee Yoo-jin-Ito.
