Once again, she took the global stage to showcase her beauty and elegance while championing Filipino fashion. She even talked about her memorable experience representing the country at the prestigious event.

The fashion creator emphasized that she aims to continue promoting Filipino fashion and talent around the globe.

“It’s a reminder that Filipino fashion belongs on the world stage, and this is just the beginning. The goal is to continue pushing boundaries—Copenhagen, London, Milan, and Paris Fashion Week are next. The energy here is unmatched, and it fuels my passion to keep elevating and championing Filipino talent in fashion,” she continued.

Among the highlights of her NYFW experience was attending the Filipinxt Show! This marked an exciting milestone for Filipino designers, as the show’s inclusion in the NYFW calendar was officially recognized.

“The Filipinxt show was the highlight of my week because it wasn’t just about showcasing Filipino fashion—it was about celebrating our culture and witnessing the collective rise of Filipino designers,” she shared.

Johanna graced the event in a stunning ensemble by Bessie Besana and Ruyag PH, proudly representing her roots and supporting the growing presence of Filipino talent in the fashion industry.

“I also had the privilege of attending the VIP dinner the night before, where I got to connect with the founders of Filipinxt and the featured designers on a personal level. And to top it all off, I was dressed by Bessie Besana for the runway show—an absolutely iconic moment!” she added.

Beyond the Filipinxt Show, Johanna was spotted at other high-profile NYFW events and presentations, including those of Kobi Halperin, Steve Madden, and Alexis Bittar, further cementing her reputation as a rising force in the world of luxury fashion.

With that, she teased an exciting new project she’s working on! While keeping the details under wraps for now, she reiterated that it is “deeply rooted in fashion, craftsmanship, and Filipino culture.”

“I’m in the early stages of something you won’t want to miss, and I can’t wait to share more when the time is right,” she happily announced. “I can’t reveal too much just yet, but fashion lovers, get ready—this is something you’ll be proud to wear and bring to the table. Stay tuned!”

Johanna is based in San Francisco. Just last year, she also stunned at NYFW. She is the former founder and CMO of Kolorete Cosmetics and has collaborated with over 100 major brands in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle, including Coca-Cola, Michael Kors, YSL Beauty, Prada Beauty, Valentino Beauty, ASOS, MCM Worldwide, MAC Cosmetics, Love Bonito, and Estée Lauder.
