In case you weren’t aware, Jo Koy visited the Philippines back in January and had his show taped for his next Netflix special. We’ve been wondering when it would come out and we finally have word on a premiere date – Jo Koy’s Philippine special will be streaming on June 12!
The stand-up comedian made the announcement on his Facebook page. “My third Netflix special is called ‘Jo Koy: In His Elements’ and it comes out June 12,” he says in the video.

“It’s a very special moment for me. This is that one special where I was like, I need to go back home, the Philippines. I need to show people where my mom’s from,” Jo Koy continues.
Jo Koy then talks about how he brought some of his FilAm friends to visit, as well. Since they had never been to the Philippines he wanted to show them “how beautiful the country is, how beautiful the people are.”
“Everything about this special is Filipino,” he gushes. “We need to embrace our culture and have a great time. And I can’t wait for the world to see it.”
“I’m so proud of this one. My moms gonna be even more proud. I finally brought Netflix to the Philippines. Mahal kita,” he ends the video.
