Jane De Leon is already proving Filipinos that she is a real hero after what she did with the special award she won at the ABS-CBN Ball 2019.
The newest Darna had received the Belo Beauty on the Rise Special Award that night given by the Belo Medical Group. But instead of accepting it, Jane donated the award directly to Bantay Bata 163’s Bantay Edukasyon program.
In an interview with Metro.Style, Jane shared: “I really want to help Bantay Bata especially Bantay Edukasyon para makatulong talaga na matapos ‘yung pag-aaral nila. It’s really important kasi mga bata ‘yan eh—nangangarap ‘yan. Hindi natin alam kung nasaan ‘yung mga magulang nila, at kung ano ‘yung mga gusto nilang gawin para sa buhay nila in the future. Mas maganda na maging ehemplo tayo para mas makatulong sa kanila.”

Jane has started training for her new role as the iconic Pinoy superhero. It has yet to be announced when the upcoming film will premiere.
