Jack Ma Foundation and Manny Pacquiao Foundation to Provide 50,000 COVID-19 Test Kits to the Philippines

Last night, a photo was posted on Senator Manny Pacquiao’s Facebook page announcing that the Jack Ma Foundation in partnership with the Manny Pacquiao Foundation will be providing 50,000 test kits to combat COVID-19 in the Philippines. The announcement was shared from The Manny Pacquiao Foundation Facebook page as seen below.

Chinese businessman Jack Ma is the founder of Alibaba and he recently donated one million face masks and 500,000 COVID-19 test kits to the USA, as well. In their statement, they said, “Based on the counter-epidemic experience we have gained in the past months, quick and accurate test solutions and protective equipment for medical workers are the key goods to stop the epidemic from escalating. Hopefully, these supplies can help some people in the United States. This is a big epidemic challenge faced by mankind in an era of globalization. To this day, it is no longer a challenge any country can overcome by itself, but one that all of us need to face together hand-in-hand.”

Hopefully, these supplies can help us here in the Philippines, too. Massive thanks to both foundations!
