The Italian Men’s Volleyball Team has plenty to celebrate after being crowned champions at the 2025 Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) World Championship, and they did it the best way they know how: with authentic Italian food.

While in Manila for the tournament, the newly crowned champions made multiple stops at A MANO, the award-winning Italian restaurant in Bonifacio Global City. The players shared that A MANO’s food and atmosphere reminded them of dining back home in Italy—an ultimate stamp of approval from world-class athletes.

A taste of home, away from home
For their post-championship feast, the team indulged in a spread of A MANO favorites: Beef Carpaccio, Focaccia di Recco, Gnocco Fritto, Fonduta, and Polpette. No Italian celebration is complete without pizza—and the players praised A MANO’s pies as “authentic as in Italy.” Their choices included Margherita, Burrata Culatello, Carbonara, Chorizo, Gamberi Aglio, and Bianco.

They also enjoyed pasta classics like Carbonara, Cacio e Pepe, Vongole, and Trofie al Pesto, before ending the night on a sweet note with Classic Tiramisu, Torta di Nutella, and A MANO’s signature Burrata Soft Serve.
A champion’s welcome
“It was an honor to host the team and provide them with a taste of home here in Manila,” shared Amado Forés, founder and owner of A MANO. “On behalf of everyone at A MANO, we congratulate the Italian Men’s Volleyball Team on winning the FIVB World Championship. We will continue to uphold that trust with fresh ingredients, faithful techniques, and warm hospitality.”
The Italian Men’s Volleyball Team secured their 2025 FIVB title on September 28, 2025, after defeating Bulgaria in the championship match. For A MANO, it was a proud moment to welcome the champions and share a little bit of Italy with them in Manila.
