When in Manila, it’s a MUST for every Filipino and tourist visitor to experience Jeepney Cafe‘s gastronomic wonders! Named after our country’s signature mode of transport, the jeepney, every dining experience here feels more like a tour around the world. It’s one of Manila’s iconic restaurants! Years ago, I heard that it even had a real jeepney inside where diners can get to eat in it.

Nowadays, they just have a mini replica on display.

All the dishes in their buffet are guaranteed delicious, but we do have a handful of all-time favorites which we think you never should miss….

In the evening, we suggest you unwind over at Gambrinus if you wish to relax and listen to standard tunes.

That evening, we tried their British promo where we got to enjoy well-loved classic British food and imported beers.

Once again, like in each great weekend we experience, it was soooo difficult to leave for there was so much to love and appreciate about Intercontinental Hotel Manila.

No wonder they’re still standing strong in their 45 years in the industry. There are a lot of luxury hotels out there, which are also worthy of respect and recognition but honestly, sometimes they focus too much on their amenities and image rather than on the essentials…. Coz at the end of the day, it all boils down to customer service satisfaction. How each guest would feel after checking-out…. that “lasting impression” really is the deciding factor whether he/she will come back or not.

I can only think of 1 word which best describes our weekend at Intercontinental Hotel Manila – PHENOMENAL =)
