Clockenflap, Hong Kongโsย biggest international outdoor music and arts festival, announced the first wave of acts for this yearโs event, whetting fansโ appetites for three days of world-class entertainment atย Central Harbourfront from Friday November 29 to Sunday December 1, 2024.
Following on from its back-to-back sold-out editions in March and December 2023, the festivalโs 14th edition will host a lineup topped by maverick rock icon and Sunday night headlinerย Jack White, legendary French electronic duo and Friday night headlinersย Air, critically acclaimed US singer-songwriterย St. Vincent,ย trailblazing UK DJ/producerย Jamie xx, and British psychedelic pop-rockersย Glass Animals.ย The Saturday night headliner is still to be announced.
Tickets for the festival will go on general sale atย 11am on Friday September 27, but Hang Seng Credit Card holders will have the opportunity to buy tickets three days earlier, withย Hang Seng Credit Card Priority Bookingย going live atย 11am on Tuesday September 24.

MUST-SEE LEGENDS
Fresh from the release of his sixth solo album, the brilliant โNo Nameโ, the one-and-onlyย Jack Whiteย makes his long-awaited Hong Kong debut on Sunday night, with the former White Stripes, Raconteurs, and The Dead Weather frontman poised to bring the festival to a triumphant conclusion. Performing their 1998 debut, retro-futuristic masterpiece โMoon Safariโ, live in its entirety, influential French duoย Air, just put on an amazing show at the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics, will headline on Friday with a mesmerising show that The Guardian described as โa wild, jawdropping, widescreen extravaganza.โ Andย St. Vincent, one of the most intriguing and consistently surprising artists of the past 20 years, will be a big draw on Saturday, with a set that encompasses her flawless back catalogue, including this yearโs excellent album โAll Born Screamingโ.
TRENDSETTERS
Clockenflap is known for bringing the hottest names in music to Hong Kong, and this year is no different. One-third of Mercury Prize-winning British indie act The xx, trailblazing DJ/producerย Jamie xxย makes his Clockenflap debut hot on the heels of the release of his highly anticipated third album, โIn Waves.โ Best-known for their viral megahit โHeat Wavesโ, British psychedelic pop-rockersย Glass Animalsย arrive on the back of their acclaimed fourth album, โI Love You So F***ing Muchโ. Serving up an infectious concoction of electro house and synth-pop, Atlanta DJ/producerย Porter Robinsonย is jetting in to perform a high-energy live set, while genre-bending Los Angeles actย Fiji Blueย will be on hand to captivate fans with their dreamy fusion of indie pop, electronica, and R&B.
BEST OF JAPAN
Showcasing the breadth and depth of Japanโs electrifying music scene, this yearโs lineup features an eclectic collection of the countryโs most exciting artists, including magnetic hip-hop duoย Creepy Nuts, enigmatic J-Pop vocalistย yama, intricate post-rock/math rock mastersย toe, mesmerising girl groupย Sakurazaka46ย and indie-pop bandย CodyใปLee(ๆ).
INDIE TRAILBLAZERS
From its very first edition, Clockenflap has proudly championed indie artists, and that tradition continues in this yearโs lineup. Canadian indie-rockersย Mother Motherย arrive on the back of their ninth album, โGrief Chapterโ, while upbeat Japanese-Australian four-pieceย Last Dinosaursย are touring their fifth album, โKyoryuโ.ย Other indie highlights include LA duoย Bubble Tea and Cigarettes, Xiโan post-punkย bandย FAZI, London dance-punk dynamosย Fat Dog, Hong Kong post-hardcore actย An Id Signalย and hypnotic Dutch psychedelic rockersย YIฬN YIฬN.
REGIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
Bringing the best of the regionโs musical talent to Hong Kong, Clockenflap once again welcomes a wide-ranging selection of acts from around Asia. Showcasing Taiwanโs music scene are indie favouritesย Deca Joins, Kaohsiung rockersย Gigantic Roarย and alternative rockersย JADE. Fans will also get the chance to enjoy the sounds of Thai singer-songwriterย Violette Wautierย and South Korean guitar princessย MEMI.
ELECTRONIC HEROES
Keeping the dancefloor moving all weekend long, Clockenflap presents an eclectic lineup of top electronic acts from around the world. Canadian DJ/producerย A-Trakย is known for serving up an irresistible blend of electro and hip-hop, and Australiaโsย Partiboi69โs anarchic brand of ghetto house is guaranteed to get the party started.ย Yung Singhย brings the sound of the UK new Asian underground, while last but by no means least, the legendryย Dave Clarkeย will demonstrate why heโs known as โThe Baron of Techno.โ Plus a special DJ and spandex set byย ROBOT, where Clockenflap co-founders Jay and Mike will be welcoming Bobby Parsley to celebrate ROBOT’s 25th anniversary.
Other acts confirmed to perform include Hong Kong neo-jazz actย R.O.O.Tย and life-affirming festival favoritesย Ibrahim Maalouf & the Trumpets of Michel-Ange.

Ticket prices remain the same from December 2023, with three-day General Admission tickets at HK$1,990 and single-day General Admission tickets at HK$1,280; three-day U18 tickets are HK$1,590 and single-day U18 tickets are HK$880.ย ย
