With the release of “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” which has set the box office record for the biggest opening weekend for an animated film, it has now earned its place in the top 10 video game adaptation movies and shows of all time!
“The Super Mario Bros. Movie” joins other classic childhood video games that were turned into movies, such as “Sonic the Hedgehog” and “Pokemon.” When it comes to TV shows, however, the titles that have made the list are not as family-friendly – with darker, more violent games proving to be the most popular, making up 9 out of the top 10.
