Bless my soul, animated Disney classic Hercules is getting a live-action remake!
The Hollywood Reporter dropped the news on Thursday, April 30, revealing the producers of Marvel’s Avengers, the Russo brothers, to helm the film.
The remake is already reportedly in early production but other important details—such as the cast, the director, and whether it will be a movie musical—have yet to be confirmed.
But there’s only one thing that fans are concerned about right now, and they say that this will either make or break the film—and it’s about who will be cast as the five Muses!
The five Muses are among the most loved characters in the animated classic who serve as the story’s narrators and sing most of the songs. It makes sense that fans are particularly touchy about who may be chosen to play them.
