Love Haruki Murakami? Fans of the much-loved author of must-read novels ‘Norwegian Wood’, ‘1Q84’, ‘Kafka and the Shore’, has collaborated with UNIQLO for a collection that is now available in stores.
The Haruki Murakami / Murakami Radio UT collection presents the unique and creative world of Haruki Murakami through T-shirts with motifs from six of his best-known novels, as well as Murakami Radio, the music radio program he hosts in Japan.
Haruki Murakami has a huge collection of T-shirts stacked in cardboard boxes and has written about his favorite T-shirts and the stories behind them. This collaboration takes inspiration from the memorable phrases and striking cover designs of six of his novels that have been particularly praised in Japan and around the world , and incorporates the designs into T-shirts.

The lineup also includes designs with illustrations of the cat featured on Murakami Radio, the music program that Murakami himself produces and hosts, and other items reflecting his unique sensibility.
