After a long week of studying or working, we all deserve a treat. Luckily, GILT Burger is now open to everyone who needs a guilty treat!

Located along Guijo Street in Makati City, the newly soft-opened burger place serves some of the most extraordinary burgers you’ll taste within the Metro!

Opened just last September 22, GILT is actually the fruit of the co-owners’ love for one another and for food. Alexa Arce and Gian Reyes, co-owners of the place, wanted to start a food and burger business. They’ve been dating for some time and because of their endless love and passion for food, they were able to establish GILT Burger.

GILT Burger’s name originated from the idea of having the guilty pleasure of eating delicious food! It’s also named after their signature burger, which has a shaving of 24K gold, the item that their first-ever customer ordered.

Gian Reyes shares that their burgers are very particular with details such as only using ingredients of the best quality. This includes using 100% real beef and cheese for their products. Combining the food with the neighborhood feels of the vicinity equates to a great experience at GILT.

As a GILTy treat, we got to try their best-sellers! A fair warning: these burgers aren’t for the faint-hearted! 

GILT Sampler – Php235

Are you new to GILT? If you are, then this is for you. The dish features a combination of equally-delicious GILT favorites, which include Cheeseburger sliders, Shogun Togarashi and Drunken Umami.

Cheeseburger – Php190

Crafted with pure New Zealand beef, this GILT staple is a true classic! Your conventional cheeseburger is now upgraded to the next level. The burger is accompanied by their equally delicious hand-cut fries.

Gian’s Bday Burger – Php439

This one is their burger of the month this November, made to commemorate Gian’s birthday! NZ Angus beef is topped with a sweet and smoky glaze, whiskey glazed bacon, umami dark beer cheese sauce, onion rings and fresh slaw.

Mi Goreng – Php429

If you love crispy food, this one is for you! Partly inspired from the Indonesian noodle dish Mi Goreng, chicken thigh fillets are wrapped in the noodles to create an intense crunch. The burger is topped with Sriracha sauce and a sunny side up egg for good measure.

Honey Sriracha Wings (Top) – Php245 / The Crowd Pleaser (Bottom) – Php195

Here are equally irresistible sides that complement the symphonious experience at GILT!  The wings are blended in a sweet and spicy (not overly offensive spiciness) and topped off with cilantro and sesame seeds. The one below, which is equally delicious, includes chicken wrapped in honey cured bacon. It is stuffed with crunchy bell peppers and melted cheese. YUM!

More than Smores – Php235

Miss camping? Don’t worry! GILT’s More than Smores brings campfire feels to the comfort of your table. Melted chocolate, Oreos, Snickers and marshmallows are placed in a hot skillet, and then served with graham crackers on the side. For good measure, the dish is topped with a generous scoop of Cookies and Cream Ice Cream. This dessert itself is worth coming back to GILT’s Burger!

GILT Burger – Php888

And the star of the show is….. the GILT Burger itself! The burger contains Colby Jack cheese inside and is topped off with red wine-infused red onions, brie cheese, bacon jam, truffle mayo with black caviar, quail egg, lettuce, and tomatoes. To finish, it is topped off with an edible 24k gold leaf. With this burger, you’ll fully grasp why GILT’s burgers are truly a guilty treat!

INSIDER TIPS: 

• Not a big fan of lettuce, tomatoes or red onions? Don’t worry! You may opt for caramelized onions instead!
• Avail of their Hungry hour meal deal every 12pm – 2pm in the afternoon and 8pm-10pm in the evening! For only Php295, you’ll be able to dine with a choice of cheeseburger or chicken burger. The promo comes with a side of fries and a choice of soda or San Mig Light.
