The wait is over; luxury eyewear brand Gentle Monster is now officially open in the Philippines!
Hailing from Korea, Gentle Monster launched its Manila flagship store in Shangri-La The Fort, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig on Monday evening, October 16, gathering many local and Korean celebrities, influencers, and press to get the first exclusive look at the store and its eyewear pieces.
The brand is known for its experimentation and innovation and it’s evident with the interior of the whole place. A sculpture of ‘The Giant’ that sits atop a destructed architectural reinterpretation of FREDERIK HEYMAN’s 3D artwork greets customers as they walk in, and the unique retail experience continues throughout the store with the different intricately placed art pieces.
Filipinos will also get first dibs on the exclusive restock of the Maison Margiela collection which will only be available at Gentle Monster PH on its public opening on the 17th. “The collection presents Gentle Monster’s original eyewear designs incorporating real threaded details of Maison Margiela’s stitch logo, embodying the brand’s value of uncompromised creativity and self-expression,” the official description of the collection reads.
Gentle Monster Philippines will operate from 11 AM to 10 PM from Sunday to Thursday and from 11 AM to 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Visit its location along 5th Ave, Taguig City.
