‘Money Heist’ Season 5 started filming in Copenhagen in August, and fans of the show are more than excited to see how things will go, seeing as how it might just be the final season. With this excitement comes various fan theories, a lot of which surprisingly revolve around character deaths… and after the last death in the show, it has become quite evident that anyone could die at any moment.
Here are some of the characters who fans think we might meet their demise in Season 5 of ‘Money Heist’:
Denver
Some fans think that Denver might die at Arturo’s hands in Season 5 since Arturo is pissed at Denver for raising his child with Stockholm. Last season, sparks flew when Denver learned that Arturo was trying to persuade Stockholm to see their son, Cincinnati. Denver actually ended up beating up Arturo – something that didn’t sit well with Stockholm and resulted in a huge fight between the couple. Fans think Arturo might just take revenge because of these events.
Arturo
On the flip side, some fans think (or more like hope) that Arturo will be the one to die this season. It’s interesting how, no matter what the flaws of the other characters in the show, it is still possible to find redeeming qualities for them… but that’s not the case with Arturo. In fact, the hate for Arturo has been growing more and more with each season, and fans think it is time for him to get what he deserves, especially after he sexually assaulted one of the hostages last season.
A Reddit user has also pointed to an interview from the past, where the director and Pedro Alonso (who plays Berlin) remind us that Berlin had told Arturo in Season 1 Episode 1 that he would die. Maybe Season 5 will be the time for it to (finally) happen.
Stockholm
Some fans have pointed out that neither Denver nor Arturo will die in Season 5, as they believe that it is Stockholm who will end up suffering because of the two. After all, her decisions are known to have been reckless sometimes. Some fans speculate that she might jump in to save Denver’s life when Arturo tries to get his revenge – a twist to Denver’s words when he told her that he would jump in front of a bullet for her. Or maybe that’s how Denver will die. Hmm.
The Professor
Some fans think that The Professor might die at the hands of Alicia seeing as she had her gun pointed at him at the end of Season 4. However, it could also be likely that Alicia ends up in labor and misses her chance to catch him. The Professor might even be the one to help her get to the hospital, though it is still likely that he will die and ultimately put an end to any future heists altogether.
‘Money Heist’ Season 5 is set to consist of 10 episodes, and showrunner Álex Pina has promised an exhilarating end to the team’s heist at the Bank of Spain.
