Another Riverdale hottie will be seen more on screen come second season aside from Casey Cott who plays Kevin Keller – and that’s no other than Skeet Ulrich who plays Forsythe Pendleton “FP” Jones, the father of Archie’s best friend and burger connoisseur, Jughead.
According to Riverdale’s executive producer Sarah Schecter, she mentioned to Deadline.com that they “loved having Skeet on Riverdale last year, they couldn’t imagine Riverdale without him“. She also remarked that he is “a stellar actor” and felt that “we have just scratched the surface of who FP is“.

Riverdale’s first season left off with an FP slowly reforming; who has been trying to get his act together by going to work at Andrew Construction, not getting involved with imprudent activities such as alcohol and started becoming “the father Jughead wanted and needed”. However, in the last few episodes of the season, we see him behind bars as he was accused as the mastermind behind Jason Blossom’s murder.

If Ulrich looks familiar, you may have recognized him as a hottie in the 90’s where he played Billy Loomis in Scream and Chris Hooker in The Craft.

Schecter closes, “we can’t wait for the audience to see what he is up to this year“. According to Heavy.com, the CW has confirmed that Riverdale will be back in Fall 2017.
