While some of us wish for love that lasts, many just fall out of it.
End Street’s new song “Maniniwala” talks about the struggles of accepting that maybe there is nothing at the end of the rainbow and that every heartache isn’t always a lesson that would lead to better outcomes.
Take it from these lyrics: “Pinaglalaruan na naman ako ng tadhana, ilang beses pa ba akong maniniwala” [I am always being played by fate, how long should I even keep believing?].
Or: “Pero imbis na isipin ko kung bakit tayo nagka ganito, ibibigay ko na lang sa iba, ‘yung hindi na ako g*g*guhin pa.” [Instead of thinking where we went wrong, I’ll just give the love I have left to someone who would never use me].”

“Maniniwala” is part of End Street’s upcoming LP album Mga Kwentong Walang Kwenta. The song is a more energized number, far from the band’s previous releases.
The upcoming album has songs ranging from tales of heartache to stories of hope. It is said to have 10 tracks, four of which have already been released as singles.
