After various Harry Potter stars spoke out after J.K. Rowling’s recent transphobic comments (read Daniel Radcliffe’s comments here), Emma Watson has posted a couple of tweets, as well.
Her first tweet says, “Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren’t who they say they are.”

She then posted a second tweet, saying, “I want my trans followers to know that I and so many other people around the world see you, respect you and love you for who you are.”

Emma then promoted the charities Mermaids and Mama Cash, which are dedicated to helping trans women, and wished everybody a Happy Pride Month 2020.
Other ‘Harry Potter’ stars who have spoken out after Rowling’s comments include Evanna Lynch, Katie Leung, and Eddie Redmayne.
