DJ Koo took to Instagram to mourn the passing of his wife Barbie Hsu.

“My angel went back to heaven on February 2, 2025. Firstly, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the many people who are mourning for Hee Won. I’m going through a time of indescribable sorrow and pain where the windows are on the verge of falling the creator,” the post reads, which is written in both Chinese and Korean.
He added: “For me, the time spent with Heewon was a precious and unique gift that I cannot exchange for anything in the world. I think the last thing I’ll do is to protect the families I love the most.”
However, the South Korean singer appeared to reference the late Taiwanese actress’s ex-husband, Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei, in his post.
“But before the time of great loss pain and mourning was over, the devilish people began to sell the love of my family and mine,” he wrote. “Some are walking around in the sad rain while others are creating fake news about insurance and costs to feed their families.”
Reports state that Xiaofei flew from Taiwan to Thailand and was seen walking in the rain on February 3 after learning of her passing.
The Chinese entrepreneur and the Taiwanese star divorced in 2021 after 11 years of marriage. The ex-couple has a 10-year-old daughter and an eight-year-old son.
“I will take legal measures through lawyers to protect their rights until they reach adulthood. I believe that safeguarding the family that Shi-yuan loved most is the last thing I can do for her,” he stated.
