Dia Mate is beyond grateful for her recent win as this year’s Reina Hispanoamericana!

She took to social media to reflect on her journey, admitting that the past few days had been a “whirlwind of emotions” for her.
“Years of dedication and hard work finally manifested into the second Reina Hispanoamericana crown for the Philippines! I’m honored to have represented my country on an international stage,” she beamed.
The Filipina beauty queen also penned a heartwarming message to everyone who supported her, including her mentors, core team, designers, creatives, fellow beauty queens, and loved ones.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her mother, whom she credited as the “mastermind” behind her journey.
“You were the first to encourage me to jump out of my comfort zone. Because of you, I’m now the beauty queen I dreamed of being. Your determination and hard work towards my career and pageantry motivated me to win for us,” she noted.
“Thank you for making all of this possible. Thank you for being strong for me. Thank you for making me strong as well. I love you and I’m eternally grateful for everything you have done for me.”
Dia also thanked her boyfriend, Juan Karlos Labajo, she wrote, “My love, thank you for being there for me every step of the way. Your support and love kept me calm during the hardest days. You are my ray of light. I love you so much!”

She concluded her post by vowing to be the “best Reina” she can be.
“Thank you to the organization and to God for giving me this opportunity. I will not take this reign for granted. I will be the best Reina I can be!”
Dia was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 on February 10 in Bolivia. She also won Best in National Costume and secured a Top 5 finish in the Miss Tourism competition.
Her victory marks the Philippines’ second Reina Hispanoamericana title, following Winwyn Marquez’s historic win in 2017.
