It’s official: Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s hit song “Despacito” has stayed on the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for 16 weeks, tying with Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men’s “One Sweet Day,” which has the held for the longest-running number one hit on the charts for 21 years.
Apart from this record, “Despacito” is currently the most streamed song with 4.6 billion streams across all platforms, and its music video is now the most viewed video on YouTube with more than three billion views.
