Data Analytics PH Launches Data Future PH 2025 to Address National Talent Gap

Data Analytics Philippines (DAPH), the largest online data analytics community in the Philippines, has successfully launched DATA FUTURE PH 2025, a nationwide movement responding to the country’s 500,000-job data talent gap. The launch took place on November 29, 2025, at the Emerson Manila office in Mega Tower, in partnership with Datasense Analytics, Emerson, and Uniquecorn Strategies.

Themed “DATA FUTURE PH 2025: Empowering 1 Million World-Class Filipino Data Analysts by 2030,” the event marked a major milestone in the nation’s digital workforce agenda. It drew over 24,000 livestream views and nearly 100 onsite attendees, including government leaders, private sector executives, and educators, with thousands more joining online from Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and the global Filipino workforce.

The event was headlined by DOLE Assistant Secretary Joel M. “Jong” Gonzales, CESO III, whose keynote reinforced the government’s commitment to strengthening national workforce readiness amid the rapid rise of AI, data, and analytics adoption.

“Digital, analytical, and technological abilities are the new passport for Filipino workers to uplift their families and take part in the global digital economy,” said Gonzales. “Through D.A.T.A., we build a nation capable of adapting, innovating, and thriving. DAPH is part of DOLE’s mission to strengthen workforce development and ensure that every Filipino has access to meaningful digital upskilling.”

DOLE and DAPH also announced an exploratory collaboration to bolster workforce development, support underserved regions, embed digital skills in school-to-work programs, and contribute to the Philippines’ ASEAN 2026 digital upskilling initiatives.

“The Philippines will develop one million world-class data analysts, and we know we cannot do this alone,” said Melboy “M” Pangan, Co-Founder and Chief Partnership Officer of DAPH. “It takes the government, industry, and communities moving as one. Partnerships are how nations leap forward, and when the public and private sectors align, real transformation becomes possible at scale.”

Leaders from Emerson, Microsoft MVP communities, academia, MSMEs, and HR networks also joined the discussions, highlighting the growing demand for analytics-enabled talent across industries. The event also underscored the challenges faced by the country’s data industry and the opportunities to address them through strengthened guidance, mentorship, and community support in learning, certification, and employment.

“Every Filipino deserves a chance to build a global career, not only those who can afford it,” said Abraham Avila Jr., Co-Founder and CEO of DAPH. “The work is centered on creating pathways that make world-class training and opportunities truly accessible, so more Filipinos can participate in the future of data and technology.”

The event deployed over 700 training vouchers and certificates and concluded with the announcement of a January 2026 national training rollout. This initiative will open 85,000 fully funded MOS Excel Associate scholarship slots, followed by free training tracks in Data Analytics Fundamentals, Power BI, MySQL, and Python.

With strong support from DOLE, the launch of DATA FUTURE PH 2025 reinforces Data Analytics Philippines’ commitment to democratize data education and expand digital career opportunities for all Filipinos.
