The news was announced by Guru Magazine by Bangkok Post on Facebook. It revealed that the upcoming romantic comedy will be entitled Laser Candy.Â
According to them, it will be “a modern love story set in the near future where an AI building is powered by human feelings. Due to a software glitch, it falls in love with a real girl, escapes the building into the body of a real man and tries to win her affections.”
Laser Candy is written by Philip Gelatt, the man behind the majority of Netflix’s Love, Death and Robots shorts. It will be co-directed by Stephan Zlotescu and Thai actor David Asavanond.
