One Direction in Manila on March 21, 2015 – CONFIRMED!!!

 

Rumors about One Direction (famously known as 1D) coming to Manila has been circulating the news, mostly in social media, are now confirmed through a leaked video.

One Direction in Manila on March 21, 2015 – CONFIRMED!!!

 

In the 13 seconds video showing the English-Irish pop band, Niall Horan spoke first saying: “Hello, Manila! We are One Direction and we’ve got some great news for you.” Zayn Malik broke the news saying, “We’re coming to Manila on March the 21st, 2015. For more info go to MMI Live[dot com].“

Music Management International (MMI) Live and it’s head Rhiza Pascua are both actively promoting a supposed big reveal last May 7, 2015, but was pushed to a later date. The said reveal is going to be announced on May 19 at 8AM.

 

As of the press time (8:30PM, PST), no official statement has been released through the MMI Live website and their social media accounts. MMI Live is the one of the country’s top concert promoter, who brought Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, David Guetta, Bruno Mars, and many more. Their upcoming concert promotion is for Taylor Swift.

Even though they only finished 3rd place from the British singing competition, The X Factor, judge Simon Cowell signed One Directions to his record label Syco Records. Since then, they have hit the music billboards worldwide with songs coming from their 3 albums: Up All Night, Take Me Home, and Midnight Memories. One Direction also bagged numerous awards, which includes Billboard’s 2014 Top Pop Artist, and 2 American Music Award trophies (Favorite Pop/Rock Album and Favorite Pop/Rock Band/Duo/Group).

One Direction is the pop band behind the songs “What Makes You Beautiful”, “One Thing”, and “Live While We’re Young”.
