The objective of this event is to showcase the talents of our local professional and amateur young artists in the Philippines. This also opens the chance for modern surrealism to be appreciated as part of growth in our art industry, and opening doors to the other side of our consciousness. This event aims to encourage more individuals to showcase their talents, at the same time promote to everyone especially to the youths that they could do something to make an improvement and betterment for our community and country. Using art and this kind of event as a tool, Blue Crayon’s objective is to creatw awareness on what we could do more for our social responsibilities. Blue Crayon aim to tackle together with Ivolunteer PH and participating artist on what more we could do through the use of our talents, will and perseverance.

MODERN ART SURREALITY FOR CHARITY

Certain percentage from the artworks to be sold will be donated to our chosen beneficiary Trisha Mae Macatangay, a 4 year-old lad who’s currently suffering from a Stage 3 sarcoma cancer. Her family humbly seeks for Trisha’s medication support considering them as one of those indigenous families living in Rosario, Cavite.

Aside from raising medication funds for Trisha Mae, some proceeds of this event will support activities of Ivolunteer Philippines (non-government organization) as Blue Crayon believes in their advocacy that “Every Filipino volunteering to build a better nation everyday’’. Ivolunteer Philippines will be expected to share their goals and advocacies during the opening day of the exhibit.

Blue Crayon Events and Productions in media partnership together with WhenInManila and Rappler, encourages everyone to come visit the exhibit, especially at the opening day and let us make you experience a different kind of Saturday, taking your journey of art appreciation to more empowering level.
