When In Manila, you often wonder where to get your fill of standard American fare especially in the southern part of the metro. Well, look no further as Chili’s opens a new branch in Alabang Town Center.
Chili’s has been around in the Philippines for over fourteen years. Their first branch was in Greenbelt 1 and they eventually transferred to their current location in Greenbelt 5. They now have five branches all over Metro Manila.
My brother and I checked out the recently opened Chili’s in Alabang Town Center. We went there on Father’s Day and it was jampacked! There were so many people waiting for tables. When I asked for a table, I was number 24 on the list! Since there were only two of us, I asked to be seated at the bar. Lucky for us, there were still two seats left!
This was the sight that greeted us when we were seated at the bar.
This is a snapshot of Chili’s ground floor dining area.
Chili’s is famous for their margaritas which come in different flavors and strengths. I ordered the strawberry margarita and their calamari for starters.
I like the way Chili’s cook their calamari. It has just the right amount of seasoning and crunch.
My brother was watching basketball on the huge screen which was right in front of our bar seats.
In between munching on the calamari, he ordered a cup of their original recipe Chili.
Chili’s offers healthy dishes apart from their steaks, fajitas and burgers. I tried their grilled chicken platter. The juicy grilled chicken complements Chili’s rice and steamed vegetables well. Ideal for those trying to eat healthy, like me!
We managed to finish a pitcher of Chili’s strawberry margarita and two rounds of bottomless tostada chips with salsa.
I am certain that residents of southern Manila are quite glad to know about this new addition to the growing number of restaurants in this side of the metro. So, if you are craving for margaritas, chicken and more, go to Chili’s Alabang Town Center. Enjoy the relaxed pace of the south in this American casual dining place, When In Manila.
