Chef Ely Salar of Patisserie Le Choux-Colat and Treena Tecson of True Chocolate PH, have collaborated to create a new crave-worthy chocolate treat that celebrates Philippine cacao.

Inspired by their favorite snacks and the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and crunchy flavors, Chef Ely Salar and True Chocolate PH introduce Craft Chocolate Clusters – an indulgent combination of pretzels, potato chips, and wafer biscuits, all smothered in rich and creamy Philippine Milk Chocolate. The result is a playful take on traditional craft chocolate that delivers on both texture and flavor.
The Craft Chocolate Clusters created for this collaboration are inspired by familiar flavors reinvented and elevated using premium local milk chocolate. It is a fun and approachable way to introduce Philippine chocolate to a wider market.

Chef Ely Salar is an accomplished Pastry Chef, Chocolatier, and entrepreneur with extensive expertise in the culinary world. He is the co-founder of several ventures, including Patisserie Le Choux-Colat, known for its artisanal pastries, Aton Cacao Philippines, which specializes in high-quality local cacao products, Elfortunella Agri Tourism Farm a project promoting sustainable agriculture, and Chocolatier’s Lab, a creative pastry and chocolate studio.
True Chocolate PH was established in 2017 by Certified Chocolate Taster, Treena Tecson to document her chocolate journey and passion for Philippine cacao. Treena received her Level 1 & 2 Chocolate Tasting Certification (2019) and Certificate in Cacao Evaluation and Flavor Profiling (2023) from the International Institute of Chocolate and Cacao Tasting (IICCT). She is currently involved in chocolate-tasting events and collaborations focused on education, appreciation, and promotion of Philippine cacao and chocolate.
Both Chef Ely and Treena share a deep passion for Philippine Cacao and this collaboration highlights their commitment to elevating premium local chocolate. They have created a chocolate treat that showcases artisanal quality with nostalgic comfort.
