Charo Santos-Concio received an honorary doctorate from her alma mater!

TV host and former ABS-CBN president was awarded a Doctor of Humanities (Honoris Causa) by St. Paul University Manila. She proudly shared the news in an Instagram post, expressing her heartfelt gratitude and offering a glimpse of the event.
“I am profoundly grateful to St. Paul University Manila for this great honor,” she said.
“To be awarded the first Doctor of Humanities, Honoris Causa, at the SPU Manila Fleur-de-lis Auditorium is both deeply humbling and immensely rewarding. I truly appreciate this recognition of my journey in Philippine media and communications.”

Charo also sent her congratulations to this year’s graduate, adding, “Heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2025! May you step forward with purpose and passion, shaping a future that reflects your aspirations.”
In October 2024, she reached another milestone by becoming a Philippine Air Force (PAF) Reservist.
