How to Join the Adele Sing-Off
Contestants must submit a video singing of any of the following songs:
- Send My Love
- All I Ask
- When We Were Young
- Hello
- Rolling in the Deep
- Someone Like You
FULL MECHANICS:
1. All interested contestants must purchase a copy of Adele’s “25” album from any Astroplus or Astrovision record store located in any Malls within Luzon area PROMO EXTENDED until June 30 to pre-qualify for the contest. Contestant will get a receipt and form as entry coupon to join the contest.
2. All contestants must submit a non-professional video singing of any of the following songs; one contestant one entry, if you send multiple entries, only the first entry will be considered.
- Send My Love
- All I Ask
- When We Were Young
- Hello
- Rolling in the Deep
- Someone Like You
3. Be as creative as possible in your video.
4. Submit the following in short brown envelop:
- DEMO CD or DVD video singing Adele chosen song
- Accomplished application form available at all participating Astrovision and astroplus music store
- Original receipt of “25” album and send personally or via mail to:

Deadline of submission is on June 30, 2016 at 8PM.
You will receive a text confirmation upon our receipt of your entry.
5. Only complete application and requirement shall be accepted by the Ivory Music and Video, Inc, Astroplus and Astrovison Stores in Ayala Malls.
6. All video will be screened. Contestants for the Elimination Round shall be informed thru their registered contact numbers in their application forms.
7. The elimination round will be done in Fairview Terraces on July 3, 2016 (Sunday). There will be 3 judges in the elimination round. A DTI representative will be invited on elimination round which will be held at 5PM.Top 5 grand finalists will be chosen for the Grand Finals. Material/minus one will be care of the contestant.
8. From the elimination round, the top 5 grand finalists will receive P3000.00 each. Consolation prize of P1000.00 each for the eliminated contestants.
9. The live elimination performances of the top 10 contestant will be uploaded to Ivory Music & Video YouTube channel on July 5, 2016; the video with the most number of views until July 9, 2016 will receive a special award during Grand Finals day.
10. Grand finals will happen in Fairview Terraces on July 10, 2016 (Sunday) at 5PM, in the presence of a DTI representative and same sets of judges.
11. Each performance shall be judge based on the following criteria:
- Voice Quality (50%) – Does the contestant’s chosen song suit his/her voice did he/she hit the right notes perfectly.
- Diction & pronunciation (20%) – Clarity of the lyrics. Can the audience clearly hear the words? Are you clearly enunciating?
- Stage Presence (20%) -Did the contestant connect with the audience? Is she/he confident while singing his/her piece? Your style and appearance, and whether or not it enhances your performance.
- Audience Impact (10%) – Cheers, claps, whistles from the audience
12. Winners shall receive the following:
- Grand Prize: Php 30,000.00 plus Plaque
- 2nd Prize: Php 15,000.00 plus Plaque
- 3rd Prize: Php 10,000.00 plus Plaque
- Special Award – Most Views Php 5,000.00
- Consolation Prize: Php 1000.00 for non-winning contestant
13. Open to females and males aged 18 – 35 years old. Permanent residents of the Philippines. Travel and other expenses of non-Metro Manila contestants shall be care of contestant.
14. All employees of Ivory Music and Video, Inc and Astrovision / Astroplus Record Store, their PR and advertising agencies, their affiliates and relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity of affinity are disqualified from participating in this promotion. Judges decision is final and irrevocable in concurrence with DTI.
15. Promo duration is until June 30, 2016. This promo is valid within Luzon area. Ivory Music and Video will shoulder 20% tax for prizes exceeding Php 10,000.
