The Philippine Normal University-Laboratory School’s class of 1998 is having a class reunion on the 15th of April 2016 at the Philippine Normal University campus at Taft Avenue, Manila. Dubbed as #18yearsIn1day, the gathering geared at celebrating success and friendships, and give back to the institution, acknowledging and honouring the selfless men and women who have devoted their lives to educating the Filipino youth.
The event will consist of two (2) activities: friendship games, and a benefit dinner. The friendship games will have members of the grade school batch of ’94 and high school batch of ’98 competing in various sport competitions at 8 o’clock in the morning at the university quadrangle. A benefit dinner in the evening will be hosted to help improve the Technology and Livelihood Education room which was caught fire on January 2011. Dinner proceeds will be used to provide much needed equipment for the said learning facility. During the benefit dinner, the class will pay tribute to the university and their teachers, and have a glimpse of their journey from graduating from high school to the successes and adventures to the current year. The event will also showcase the launch various events to help uplift the PNU-Laboratory School (now known as the PNU-Center for Teaching and Learning) facilities. Among the events that will be launched include: classroom painting, and various fundraising events within the year.
