Catriona Gray expressed her joy and pride in her fiancé Sam Milby as his new Netflix show “Replacing Chef Chico” officially premiered on the streaming site.
“Replacing Chef Chico” is the very first Filipino Netflix Original series that stars Milby alongside Alessandra De Rossi and Piolo Pascual and tells the story of a devoted sous-chef who takes on the reins after the head chef falls into a coma to prevent their beloved Filipino fine dining restaurant from closing down.
Milby plays the titular role Chef Chico.
“A very proud [fiancee] right here! Congrats my love, @samuelmilby on the launch of the FIRST Filipino produced series for @netflix Replacing Chef Chico,” wrote Catriona on her Instagram post which included pictures and videos from the red carpet event last Thursday, November 23.
“Proud din [ako] kasi alam ko (I’m also proud because I know) this will pave the way even more so, for Filipino content on international platforms,” she added before congratulating Cornerstone Studios and Project 8 Projects. “At the premiere we watched the first two episodes of the 8 ep series and I was laughing, crying and saying to myself – this writing is so good. Watch the series for yourself, out now on @netflix!”
“Replacing Chef Chico” is directed by Dan Villegas and created by Antoinette Jadaone and produced for Netflix.
