Bea Alonzo and Carla Abellana have begun taping for their new television series on GMA Network called “Window’s War,” as seen in pictures posted by entertainment reporter Nelson Canlas.
“Widow’s War” was revealed to be a spin-off of the well-loved GMA murder series “Royal Blood” and “Widow’s Web” and will be directed by Zig Dulay who helmed “Maria Clara at Ibarra” and the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 Best Picture film “Firefly.”

In an interview with Nelson Canlas for 24Oras, Bea said that it’s been exciting working with Carla, whom she has never acted with before, for this project. “First time ko naka-eksena si Carla. So far, so good naman. Feeling ko may rapport naman kami. So it’s exciting for me,” she said.
Carla agreed with the sentiment. “Okay naman, so far, so good. Hindi naman heavy ‘yung first scene. Hindi naman din siya super light, pero at least magaan lang naman ‘yung eksena. Hindi pa siya buo, but okay naman so far.”
