This is Not a Drill: “Cardcaptor Sakura” is Now on Netflix PH!

This is not a drill! Beloved anime “Cardcaptor Sakura” is now officially streaming on Netflix Philippines!

To be specific, it’s the 2018 Japanese anime “Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card” that’s currently available, which directly continues where “Cardcaptor Sakura Movie 2: The Sealed Card” (2000) movie leaves off. It follows Sakura Kinomoto in junior high school with her best friends, including her love interest Syaoran, and who must now embark on a quest to find out why all of her 53 Clow Cards suddenly turned “clear” and rendered powerless.

All this, while a new villain is ready to take the Cards for himself and successfully work forbidden magic to finally realize his deepest wish.

Unfortunately for those who grew up in the 90s watching “Cardcaptor Sakura,” the first three seasons that aired from 1998 to 2000 are still not available for streaming at the moment. But we’re holding onto hope that Netflix PH will fulfill our wishes and brings it to the platform someday!

“Cardcaptor Sakura” is a Japanese anime series based on the shoujo manga series of the same name by CLAMP. The manga ran from 1996 to 2000. It revolves around the story of a young student who stumbles upon the book of Clow Cards and accidentally releases them into the world. To prevent a worldwide catastrophe, she must then catch all of the escaped cards with the help of her best friend, Tomoyo, and Cerberus, the cards’ guardian.
