BTS’ RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will enlist in the military soon. BigHit Music announced today, November 22, that the four members have officially initiated their military enlistment process.
“We would like to inform our fans that RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook have initiated the military enlistment process. The artists are preparing to fulfill their military service duties. We will inform you of further updates in due course,” the statement read.
The agency asked their fans, ARMYs, to continue their “love and support” for the members until they complete their military service.
“We ask you for your continued love and support for RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook until they complete their military service and safely return. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artists.”
As of writing, the military enlistment dates of RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have yet to be disclosed.
In June 2022, BTS announced that they will take a break from group activities to focus on their solo endeavors, as they are set to enlist in the military in 2023.
Jin was the first to enlist in December 2022, followed by J-hope in April and Suga in September 2023.

All seven members renewed their contracts with BigHit Music in September and will return as a group in 2025.
