Boracay Island had been badly hit when tourism closed and in October they will be opening the economy with strict health protocols.
According to Tourism Undersecretary Benito Bengzon, tourists should have pre-arranged reservations and should present a negative RT-PCR test result prior to their travel to the island.
According to Interior Secretary Eduardo Año said that Boracay has been planning for the reopening and is well-prepared to accept tourists at this time.
