Aside from Bombay Bicycle Club’s awesome musicality, another thing I love about them is their album artwork and in this instance, their LED visuals. They’re just so unusually artsy.
“There’s a story in which my eyes shut
Could you bag me up?
Could you bag me up?
Saw you hanging there [?]
With your eyes looking down
And it’s all wasted now.
Told you but you can’t take it…”
“How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep” began with so much grace, I wondered how such talented people could exist in this world. With their voices in perfect harmony, it was hard to tell whose voice was which.
“Feel”, the song of BBC that I’d sounds a bit Indian and lives up to their Bombay name, is one I find remarkable. Its groove will make you want to shake your hips without you even noticing it.
The drum beat so fast, your heart would feel like it was palpitating. The music of Bombay Bicycle Club last night was far beyond words and photos. You’d have to be there to truly appreciate it. Thanks to Karpos Multimedia who brought them here!
And just like that, the night ended with “Always Like This”. Feet still tapping and hands still raised, fans of BBC wished the night never had to end; but like all other good nights, this one had to come to a close, as well.
With a collection of songs to dance to, songs to jump to, songs to contemplate to, songs to make you cry and songs to make you smile, Bombay Bicycle Club’s night in Manila was the perfect hideout for everyone who wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the weather outside, from the stress of work, the headache of the real world, but above all for everyone who loves their music.
