If you already think it’s great, hold your breath as BJ Pascual unveils what Anne Curtis’ September 2023 magazine cover should have looked like!
In case you missed it, Anne Curtis graced the cover of Tatler Asia’s Most Stylish Icon 2023 issue. The ABS-CBN star looked stunning in the set of photos captured by renowned Filipino photographer BJ Pascual, but apparently, it wasn’t exactly what they initially had in mind.

According to Pascual, they had to accommodate the luxury fashion magazine’s requirement. “We got the brief from Tatler Asia that everything had to be shot against a plain white backdrop to make all the covers cohesive amongst all Asian editions of the magazine,” he explained. Even though their original concept was not officially printed, Pascual went on to execute the idea and published it on social media “just for fun.”
The set of photos was given a whole ‘nother vibe with Pascual’s “surrealistic concept” in the art direction of Vince Uy. The director also did the AI rendering of the elements that were added, breathing life into the digital images by Merlito Pabatao.
In the post, Pascual also expressed gratitude to Tatler Philippines’ editor-in-chief, Anton San Diego, on behalf of the entire team for his trust. Check out the photos below!
