1. Sausage & Caramelized Onions Risotto (Php 310)

Risotto is an Italian dish that does not get much love from us Filipinos unlike, say, spaghetti and pizza. But Chef Joseph’s dad loves risotto so much, and could only get it from a single restaurant near where he works. The perceptive chef decided to include the item on the menu to introduce more Filipinos to the dish.

 

In this instance, the hearty rice dish was topped with delicious caramelized onions and paired with cooked sausage. The mild flavor of the risotto lent a stark contrast to the sweetness of the onions and the savory flavor of the sausage. All in all, Bistro Ninety Eight’s Sausage & Caramelized Onions Risotto is a delicious, filling dish anyone can have for lunch or dinner. 

 

 

 

 

 

2.  BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich (Php 250)

This is such a smartly made dish, it’s no wonder  it became one of Bistro Ninety Eight’s best sellers. Chef Phoebe’s pulled pork was lovingly made with the Filipinos in mind, and since we are known for our sweet tooth, the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich is a pleasant mix of sweet and tangy. The sandwich is always served with a side of chips and fresh salad or coleslaw. Everything on the plate goes so awesome together, you would not believe it!
