These figures reflect the growing global interest in P-pop. BINI—composed of Jhoanna, Aiah, Maloi, Colet, Mikha, Stacey, Sheena, and Gwen—made history as the first all-Filipino P-pop group to perform at the highly anticipated music festival. On April 10 (April 11, Philippine time), the group performed their hit songs “Pantropiko” and “Salamin Salamin,” along with their latest track “Blush.”
Meanwhile, KATSEYE’s Sophia Laforteza proudly represented the Philippines as the multinational group performed viral tracks like “Touch,” “Internet Girl,” and “Gnarly,” among others. They also performed their newest single, “Pinky Up.”
Both groups are set to return for their second performance on April 17 (April 18 in the Philippines).
