It finally happened! Brothers Paolo and Miguel Benjamin, the frontmen of the OPM folk band Ben&Ben, have been announced as the newest ambassadors of Cream Silk, the No. 1 conditioner and hair care brand in the Philippines. And honestly, we’re not surprised! Not with the twins’ distinctively gorgeous, long, jet-black hair that’s had people’s attention since day one.

The collaboration was shared by Ben&Ben and Cream Silk this week, but it’s been a long time coming. All thanks to a meme that blew up back in February, when a fan hilariously photoshopped Paolo’s and Miguel’s faces onto Cream Silk products, in place of the brand’s female endorsers. The meme went viral and eventually reached the brothers, who reposted it on their social media saying, “Kung sino man ang gumawa nito, mabuhay ka ??”
Cream Silk got wind of the viral meme and responded, “Gusto niyo totohanin para ‘di nalang to #KathangIsip?” Which naturally sent the internet wild with excitement. And now, five months after, this collaboration is no longer just kathang isip, making Ben&Ben the first male ambassadors of Cream Silk.
