Spearheaded by the College of Engineering Student Council in partnership with the Center for Innovation in Engineering Education (CIEE), this year’s WED celebration transformed into a dynamic showcase of grit and brilliance among senior high school and university students.

A true battle of the mind unfolded at STEM-A-THON v3.0 as 22 STEM student teams competed for the title of best in CALABARZON. The Sparta Gymnasium became an arena of academic excellence where students faced intense rounds of questioning, strategic thinking, and challenges throughout the competition.

Fame Diamonds Team 1 from Fame Academy of Science and Technology (FAST) Inc. emerged as the overall champion, followed closely by Fame Diamonds Team 2. The Aloysian Warriors from Sisters of Mary School – Adlas Inc. secured third place.

Senior high school students also showcased their creativity and teamwork in ASCEND, an interactive challenge that tested both intellect and collaboration. Participants navigated various engineering department stations designed to push their problem-solving skills and ingenuity.

Team Marinos Edge from Inosloban–Marawoy Integrated National High School claimed the top spot, while Bolbok Trailblazing Minds from Bolbok Integrated National High School and The Peacemakers from New Generation International School placed second and third, respectively.
