Asia Society Photo Challenge: Asian Unity in Diversity
The Asia Society is an international organization that works to strengthen relationships and promote understanding among the people, leaders, and institutions of Asia and the United States. In the Philippines, we have highlighted the diversity of Asian cultures and social issues through exhibitions, films, lectures, seminars, conferences, and travel study tours.
This month, Asia Society Philippines is holding a photo competition entitled the “Asia Society Photo Challenge: Asian Unity in Diversity”. Presented by Metrobank and AirAsia in partnership with Shangri-La Plaza and WheninManila, Asia Society invites professional and enthusiast photographers alike to showcase Asia’s unity under its multi-cultural diversity.
Featuring judges like Paco Guerrero, host of the Travel Photography Documentary on GMA News TV: What I See, the top twenty (20) finalists will be showcased in a photography exhibit from October 29 to November 6, 2012 at the Shangri-La Plaza where the winners will be announced on November 7, 2012.
Round trip tickets to Hong Kong, Davao and cash prizes are at stake as well as the opportunity to have your photos judges by some of the most well-known photographers in the business.
