It seems like just yesterday when I was breaking down in tears because the Yuehua boys of ZEROBASEONE left the group to start their separate journey. Well, AND2BLE has officially made their highly anticipated debut and if, like me, you have followed them from the very beginning, seeing Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin, Han Yu-jin, along with formerly-EVNNE’s Yoo Seung-eon together again after Boys Planet was not just a debut. It was a powerful statement of resilience and artistry.

Transitioning from the high-pressure environments of groups like ZEROBASEONE and EVNNE and starting from scratch is no small feat. Yet, the members of AND2BLE perform and look like veterans who are finally seizing the reins of their own creative destiny.
Their new EP, Sequence 01: Curiosity, is a testament to their strength. Rather than resting on the familiarity of their past, they are choosing to define themselves anew. As leader Hao perfectly articulated, the group’s name (a blend of “AND” and “DOUBLE”) reflects their desire to expand their identity and offer a “double” dose of joy and artistry to their fans.
One of the most exciting aspects of this debut as a ZEROSE though is Yuehua’s commitment to allowing the members to be at the heart of their musical identity. In an industry where creative control can often be elusive for younger groups, YH Entertainment has empowered AND2BLE to contribute directly to their discography. Hao contributed to the lyrics for both the intense lead track, “Curious”, and the B-side “Happy &”; Ricky showcased his creative input on “Curious” and “Aura”; and Gyu-vin also took part in writing for “Happy &.”
Seeing them transition from performers to active participants in the songwriting process is a source of immense pride. It proves that AND2BLE is not just a collection of talented individuals but a cohesive unit of creators who have a clear vision for their sound.
The members have spoken about their ultimate goal as well: to be a group that their fans can be truly proud to support.
