An old Lady Gaga ‘hate group’ was revived during one of the most successful years in her career

We recently wrote about how Lady Gaga is only 2 awards away from the coveted EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) standing. With only 15 performers ever having been given an EGOT, this is already telling of just how talented and successful Gaga is. But we also recently realized that aside from that, Gaga was able to take home an Oscar, Grammy, BAFTA and Golden Globe all in the span of a year.

Other than the prestige of the awards themselves, the collection of awards shows just how significant a single year of her career has been. Several performers work for most of their lives just to get any one of these accolades while Gaga made history as possibly being the first woman to ever earn them all in one award season. Which is why it’s really ironic that at one of the most successful points in her career, an old Facebook page full of haters from her University days was revived.

The old group called “Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous”  has apparently migrated and become a public Facebook page. The group used to have a significant 12 members, which Twitter users speculate was made up of jealous and petty classmates. The new page currently has around 700 followers, but it looks like most are there to troll the page admins.

It’s most recent post stated: “OUR GROUP WILL BE RELEASED SOON AGAIN” to which there were a number of creative replies.

Maybe if we all had a page that said we will never be famous, the exact opposite might just happen. Can someone do me a solid? Please and thanks

Whelp, I’m sure shes crying about this Facebook page all the way to the grammys….. oh wait I mean the oscars….. oh wait I mean…. Shes not.

I know that hate and trolls are pretty much part of the package deal when it comes to being famous, but the strategy of this page is definitely one of the weirder ones. Like another commenter said… green is a terrible color on them.

Can you imagine what would make someone start a group like this? Share your theories with us!
