Amanpulo Resort, Palawan: Paradise in the Philippines

Take note that it’s best to familiarize yourself with the place since you could easily get lost (actually, you will get lost) even if you have a map of the entire island. They have very minimal signage boards on the island as to ensure its preservation so be prepared to test your navigational skills when you’re there. 

 Moving forward, we concluded the tour at our very own casita, in which I was very excited to see. Actually, we were really lucky as we were given an upgrade with our room since there were only a number of guests staying that time, I think only about 26% occupied. From a treetop casita, we were transferred to a beach casita, which has a private pathway leading directly to the white sand beach. I must say, my expectations of a high-end resort definitely exceeded without a doubt! Here are some snapshots of what our room looks like and the view that effortlessly blew me away:

Imagine waking up with this view every single morning

It’s true that the resort offers ultimate privacy. The moment I got into the beach, it was like my own private island. At the back of my mind, I know there are other guests who are also here but you’ll never get to see them during your stay. That’s how huge and private the resort is. This place truly epitomized an island paradise. The beach offers you pure white sand and pristine crystal clear blue and turquoise waters. There’s even school of fishes by the beach! Rich marine life is always a good indication of a clean and well-maintained island.
